Beginning his professional career at 16, Alex Cohen quickly emerged as one of NYC’s next generation of drummers. Graduating from from NYU with a degree in Jazz Performance, he went on to work with a diverse roster including Mac Miller, Death Metal legends Malignancy, and National Geographic. Currently, Alex writes for Drumhead Magazine, and his first book is due this fall on Hudson Music. His playing has received acclaim from some of the top drummers in the world, including Thomas Lang, Gergo Borlai, Jonathan Mover, and Ari Hoenig.
